Help your pupils "think globally and act locally". Bags of Choice is a two-year project involving eight schools working in partnership with their local supermarket. Each school has developed and put into practice a waste management policy, with help from GLADE, a waste minimisation specialist and Carymoor Environmental Centre.

Bags of choice, is a UK-based project, involving eight schools which will develop a waste management policy. Students will go to the local supermarket, do research on carrier bag consumption and develop a waste minimisation strategy.

Education project, Learning Materials for Change, makes students in the North aware of issues which affect people in the South. The project seeks to challenge young people to consider global issues in a new and imaginative way even as it reinforces their traditional studies.
