13.02.2004 Tunisia’s president will be in Washington Tuesday for talks with Pres. Bush. Tunisia has become an ally in the 'war on terror,' but wages its own terror war against human rights activists and the media. Human rights and press freedom groups here are urging Bush to take Tunisia to task for its repressive policies.

28.01.2004 A producer and driver working for CNN in Iraq were killed Tuesday when a man in a car opened fire on their vehicle. Last year, according to the Committee to Protect Journalists, 13 journalists were killed in Iraq--which is judged the most dangerous spot for the profession.
