Leading scientists and campaigners will call on the European Union to ban environmental releases of genetically modified crops and to adopt sustainable agriculture. Supported by a coalition including the Institute of Science in Society, GM-Free Cymru, Third World Network and the Greens/ European Free Alliance in the European Parliament, the panel will make it case in October at the European Parliament.
