Comment: Welcome to the Carbon Countdown forum. It's for those quick points you want to make that don't deserve of blog entry - or it's for people who are not ready to start blogging.

I'd like to start it off with a question about targets. I for one am confused about what we should be aiming for: 60% cut in all greenhouse gas emmisions by 2025 or a 90% cut by 2030? And on a personal level should we each have a taget of 2.5 tonnes of CO2 emissions or, as some are saying, two thirds of a tonne. Obviously there are differences of opinion, but for a national camaign that can have traction, wouldn't it help to have agreed numbers? And as an individual trying to change my way of living, what should I be aiming at?
