Time: 18.01.2006 18:05 Comment: Hello. I've been having an interesting debate with friends recently and would love to hear anyone else's views: when/how can you justify an individual flight? A simple rule seems to be: the only OK flights are those taken by a person directly working to combat climate change. Nothing else is worth the carbon emissions. But then you start thinking about your best friend's wedding in Australia or the last chance to visit a dying grandparent in Peru and things get more difficult. ??? Regards, Frances |
